Job summary

Wallwork Truck Center is seeking a Route Parts Sales candidate with excellent customer service skills to join our team! The role involves soliciting parts business from assigned accounts, delivering parts to local locations, and supporting customers with orders and inquiries.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a base pay of $48k per year plus commission. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year in heavy truck parts or sales are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year experience in heavy truck parts industry and/or sales.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• CDL required for selected locations (Bismarck, Williston, Minot, Dickinson).
• CDL not required for Fargo, Northwest Truck & Trailer, Fergus Fall & Fargo Trailer, Grand Forks.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned customers on route and prospect for new customers.
• Submit parts orders for all designated customers.
• Completes core battery, warranty, and new part returns per Company policy.
• Local delivery of parts using a pickup and gooseneck trailer; must be able to load and unload necessary parts.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment.
• Some overnight travel may be required as needed. (Lodging, meals and travel expenses are compensated per company guidelines.)
• Follow up with sales, coordinate returns, and overall customer service.
• Must be capable of working under pressure, work independently, and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise.
• Completes vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; reports safety concerns to management.
• Services existing accounts, obtains and follows up on orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule.
• Maintains professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.

This position will deliver parts to the various business locations in the surrounding area. • Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment to meet the needs of the company, employees, and/or customers.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
• Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
• Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
