Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Supports pharmacy inventory management activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. Champions On-Shelf Availability and manages receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes. Validates and ensures accuracy of planograms.
Reviews and coordinates proper use of reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing. Executes and maintains asset protection techniques, filing claims for warehouse and vendor overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
In designated stores, opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups, cash handling, cashier responsibilities, and ensuring readiness of the floor and stock room.
Engages customers by greeting and assisting with products and services. When serving as the leader on duty, resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience. Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Executes and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders. Manages delivery scans, verifies pharmacy shipments, completes inventory activities, and manages pricing and inventory counts. Supports compliance with legal regulations regarding regulated products and maintains accurate inventory records. Assists with physical inventory preparations and supports store cleanliness and system knowledge. Ensures proper execution of package deliveries, POS transactions, and adheres to company policies. Completes additional tasks as assigned.
Attends training sessions, completes e-learning modules, and maintains necessary certifications or licenses.
Acts as a liaison between management and team members, communicates tasks, and reports issues when acting as leader on duty.
