Join the Inventory Specialist role at Copart

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing all vehicle inventory at the facility within company timelines. Using company-provided tools, the specialist will document vehicle conditions, including complete inventories and photographs. They will also direct the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing and facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs, adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Monitoring, maintaining, and organizing the receiving area.
  2. Operating cameras and handheld inventory devices to process incoming vehicles.
  3. Performing vehicle inspections and inventories as required.
  4. Maintaining inventory of materials used.
  5. Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety requirements.
  6. Performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
  • General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including operation of handheld devices.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Driver's license preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
