Position Summary

The Check In and Inventory Specialist primarily handles end-of-day check-ins with independent contractors and inventory control processes. Responsibilities include verifying paperwork for accuracy and compliance, and assisting warehouse management with daily operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct end-of-day audits of independent contractors’ paperwork and returns, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
• Verify appliance counts and match received items with inventory logs.
• Tag and store returned appliances appropriately.
• Maintain a clean facility environment.
• Follow security practices to prevent theft.
• Assist with daily tasks as directed by the warehouse manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. At least two years’ experience in warehouse or inventory control, and a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Customer service orientation, effective time management, teamwork, flexibility, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, self-motivation, and proficiency in English. Ability to operate warehouse equipment and perform data entry.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Work is mainly in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, with exposure to weather. Requires bending, standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, climbing, and clear speech communication. Visual acuity for close-range details.
