Job summary

Xerox Holdings Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storage, and distribution activities at our Chesapeake, VA facility. You will verify packing lists, unload deliveries, and route items to departments to ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

The role requires reading PO/documents, basic math, and strong attention to detail. Training on Xerox equipment and safety will be provided, with opportunities for career development and a comprehensive

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, bill of lading, and packing slips.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Receives items and verifies packing list with purchase order.
• Unloads vehicles and accepts delivery.
• Stores items in designated area.
• Processes backordered items.
• Routes received items to departments.
• Assembles, packs, and labels shipment orders.
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
• Assists with physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Operates tier lift truck to move shipments within the distribution center.
• Picks orders physically and electronically.
• Maintains bin locations of supply items.
• Main point of contact for supply tracking inquiries from CCC.

Responsibilities:

• Receives items and verifies packing list with purchase order.
• Unloads vehicles and accepts delivery.
• Stores items in designated area.
• Processes backordered items.
• Routes received items to departments.
• Assembles, packs, and labels shipment orders.
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet necessary specifications.
• Assists with physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Operates tier lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Picks orders physically and electronically.
• Assists in other areas of the Distribution Center as needed.
• Maintains bin locations of supply items within the distribution center.
• Main point of contact (POC) for all supply tracking inquiries from the Customer Care Center (CCC).

Requirements:

• High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, bill of lading, and packing slips.
• Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours and regularly lift 50-70 pounds.
• Able to safely maneuver oversized and overweight equipment.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate‑controlled.
