Job summary

PTR Global in South Carolina is seeking an experienced Materials Specialist to support storeroom and inventory operations across our power-generation facilities. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, material setup, system data synchronization, compliance, and day-to-day materials-management activities.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, eight-hour shifts starting between 7:00–8:00 AM

This position will focus on inventory accuracy, material setup, system data synchronization, compliance, and day-to-day materials-management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain material and inventory records.
• Synchronize materials data between SAP and Maximo.
• Perform inventory reviews, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
• Support SOX compliance and inventory-control requirements.
• Coordinate with storeroom personnel across multiple facilities.
• Analyze inventory activity, usage trends, and material requirements.
• Process information accurately while managing multiple priorities.
• Assist with additional inventory and materials-management needs.

Required Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of related inventory or materials-management experience.
• Hands-on SAP experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Maximo.
• Background supporting utility, power-generation, manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, forecasting, and inventory analysis.

Occasional local travel may be required. No regular overtime, driving, forklift operation, or certifications are required.
