Job Responsibilities

1. Execute, monitor, and train on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Support pharmacy inventory activities like receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Ensure On-Shelf Availability and validate planogram accuracy.
2. Review and coordinate report and system application usage affecting inventory accuracy.
3. Implement asset protection techniques, file claims for overages, shortages, damages, and handle pharmacy-specific inventory issues.
4. In designated stores, open and close the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring readiness for business.

Customer Experience

• Greet customers, offer assistance, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience. Share customer service best practices with team members.

Operations

1. Coach team on inventory management processes, including creating and receiving orders.
2. Manage deliveries, verify pharmacy shipments, and ensure accurate posting of all orders and claims.
3. Complete On-Shelf Availability processes, disposals, vendor returns, and pharmacy inventory activities.
4. Support pricing activities, maintain accurate inventory counts, and ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
5. Assist with inventory records, physical inventory preparation, and maintain store cleanliness and system knowledge.

Training & Personal Development

• Attend training, complete e-learning modules, and maintain necessary certifications.

Communications

• Serve as a liaison, communicate tasks, and report issues. Meet experience and language requirements, and be flexible with schedule.

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens experience or one year retail experience.
• Fluent in English, flexible schedule, positive performance reviews, and attention to detail.
• Preferred: experience as shift lead, pharmacy technician, or customer service associate; prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
