Job Description

An Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of goods, materials, and supplies into and out of Net Jets Locker. They monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and ensure that all items are correctly logged and accessible. This role requires a keen eye for detail, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of inventory management practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inventory Control:
  2. Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as necessary.
  3. Perform regular inventory counts, including cycle counts and full stock audits.
  4. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure product availability for production or sale.
  5. Track product movement and maintain a log of all incoming and outgoing stock.
  6. Build work orders.
  7. Order Management:
  8. Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality, accuracy, and condition.
  9. Respond to customer requests within designated time frames.
  10. Process returns and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and received goods.
  11. Assist in processing customer orders and preparing products for delivery.
  12. Stock Organization:
  13. Ensure proper labeling and categorization of items for efficient tracking.
  14. Organize and optimize warehouse storage systems for easy access to goods.
  15. Maintain a clean and safe locker environment in compliance with safety regulations.
  16. Data Entry and Reporting:
  17. Input data related to inventory transactions into inventory management software.
  18. Generate inventory reports for management, including stock levels, order status, and shortages.
  19. Assist in forecasting and planning for future inventory needs.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields is a plus.

Experience: Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain management preferred. Familiarity with carrier processes and systems.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, organizational and time-management skills, ability to work independently and in teams, proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar, knowledge of safety procedures and inventory control best practices, and good communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry items up to specified weight limits, stand, bend, move for extended periods, work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures, and work irregular hours or shifts as needed.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with barcode scanners, RFID technology, warehouse management systems (WMS), forklift certification or experience is a plus.
