Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain supply levels across areas served by Supply Chain Operations. You will stock, restock, pick, stage orders, and deliver supplies, while maintaining par levels and supporting code carts and respiratory boxes.

The role involves moving equipment and supplies in a medium to heavy demand environment. High school diploma or GED is required, with at least 1 year of related experience preferred in healthcare.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of related experience preferred in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with Materials Management system is a plus.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to learn multiple hospital areas.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain adequate supplies across all areas served by Supply Chain Operations.
  • Stock and restock items, pick and stage orders, deliver supplies.
  • Maintain par levels and assist with code carts and respiratory box maintenance.
  • Move equipment and supplies in a medium to heavy demand environment.

Job Summary
SUMMARY

The Inventory Specialist maintains an adequate level of supplies in all areas serviced by Supply Chain Operations. This includes: Stocking and restocking, picking supplies, staging orders, delivery of supplies, par level maintenance, code cart and respiratory box maintenance. This position works in a medium to heavy demand moving equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

High School Diploma

Six months(6) experience in a related position preferably in a Healthcare environment managing multiple types of supplies

Experience working with Materials Management system is a plus

Detailed Oriented

Capable of learning various areas of the Hospital and various types of supplies.

Communicate effectively with team/stakeholders-both written and verbal.

Consistently delivers an extraordinary customer experience when interacting with peers, end-users, and others.
