Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler to perform a broad range of warehouse tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of materials. You will follow inventory control procedures and complete required forms to ensure accuracy and traceability across operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of logistics experience.
• Experience with shipping and receiving operations.
• Proficiency in inventory handling and control procedures.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry for warehouse transactions.
• Hands-on experience with shipping, receiving, and transportation workflows.
• Ability to use handheld scanners for stocking and picking activities.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Receive vendor purchase orders and verify carton counts.
• Enter purchase orders into SAP accurately.
• Bag and label materials and match delivery documents.
• Stock parts using a handheld scanner.
• Maintain accurate inventory placement and organization.
• Pick delivery notes by priority using a scanner.
• Verify picked items against delivery notes before packing.
• Pack shipments in SAP following procedures and priorities.
• Ship materials to meet customer requirements with proper documentation.
• Prepare forms and records for each transaction to ensure traceability.
• Follow procedures to maintain stock levels and inventory integrity.
• Use SAP and handheld scanners to process all warehouse transactions.
