Job summary

STS Technical Services, Glendale, Wisconsin, seeks a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory control and warehouse operations. The role includes cycle counting, shipment preparation, receiving, put-away and forklift operation while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities cover SAP transactions, loading/unloading, verification of shipment data, and safe handling of materials for domestic and international shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Able to follow standard operating procedures precisely.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and productivity.
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems.
• Experience using SAP for warehouse transactions.
• Ability to obtain forklift and other equipment certifications.
• Comfortable handling up to 70 pounds and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct error investigations to improve warehouse quality and accuracy.
• Complete cycle counts to identify inventory discrepancies.
• Perform domestic and international shipping and receiving activities.
• Verify shipment information against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.
• Prepare documentation for shipments and maintain shipping records.
• Route incoming materials to appropriate locations and perform put-away.
• Operate forklift for picking, put-away, and loading/unloading.
• Record shipping transactions in SAP and support warehouse accuracy.
• Load shipments into trucks by hand or with equipment.
• Complete receiving activities by breaking down skids and opening boxes.
• Verify incoming materials for type and quantity and maintain related files.
• Support raw material warehouse duties and continuous improvement initiatives.
