Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Warehouse Associate II in Ashland, VA. The role involves unloading/loading trailers, moving product with lift equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities include storing goods, preparing shipments, and ensuring a safe, efficient warehouse environment. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with competitive hourly pay and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, label and SKU information.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to learn Internal Operating System(s) and operate Radio Frequency (RF) unit.
• Self-starter with initiative and ability to work efficiently, with minimal supervision.
• Must lift up to 60 pounds and work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load trailers and move product with powered lift equipment.
• Store product in designated areas and update location database.
• Prepare product for shipment and direct movement to staging area.
• Verify inventory by logs and reports; adjust entries.
• Document warehouse actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases.
• Monitor inventory by completing counts as required.
• Research and resolve discrepancies; locate missing product to fulfill orders quickly.
• Support returns, invoicing, tagging shipments, inputting stats, and reporting.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy warehouse environment per policies and regulations.
