Job summary

AVI-SPL in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to enter, track, and analyze product data and to serve as the contact for warehouse shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

The role supports daily distribution of reports, maintains tracking logs, handles electronic receipts, and coordinates equipment maintenance while assisting customers and vendors as needed. High school diploma and 2+ years in warehouse/inventory required; UPS/FedEx experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or inventory experience.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx shipping, tracking and receiving; international shipping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily distribution and processing of reports and other correspondence as directed by Manager
• Maintain and update equipment and product tracking log
• Manage all electronic receipts of equipment/product when it arrives
• Manage warehouse functions, including, but not limited to shipping, receiving and inventory control
• Enter all receiving purchase order information and virtual shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all assigned inventory
• Responsible for pulling inventory for order prep, pre-fabrication, and staging on project pallets
• Coordinate and manage the maintenance of equipment
• Answer all incoming calls and email queries; assisting customers, clients and related vendors as needed
• Other duties assigned as needed
