Job summary
Aerotek is seeking a Warehouse Inventory and Shipping Associate for a contract position in Fremont, CA. The role focuses on maintaining organized warehouse areas, reconciling inventory, and supporting freight/shipping processes using ERP systems and carrier platforms.
Responsibilities include receiving, counting, and data entry, along with safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong English communication and safety adherence are required.
Qualifications
- Stockroom/warehouse experience handling inventory.
Responsibilities
- Maintain warehouse aisles and stockroom areas per guidelines.
- Process inventory receiving, counting, and recording.
- Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies via cycle counts.
- Open, unpack, and stack cases for efficient material flow.
- Complete the freight process: unload/load merchandise.
- Distribute inventory to correct locations within timeframes.
- Pull and replenish merchandise as needed.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Ship/receive using ERP and carrier platforms (UPS WorldShip, FedEx).
- Maintain clean, safe, orderly sorting areas.
- Adhere to safety standards while handling materials.
- Data entry and shipping documentation in ERP.
- Read/write in English; communicate with team.
- Support packing activities.
- Perform additional duties as required.
