Job summary

Opportunities in Fontana, CA is hiring for a shipping/receiving role focused on day-to-day inventory operations. You will pick, pack, and ship parts, manage bin locations, and track freight while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The position requires high school or GED and at least 6 months in a similar role; vocational training in inventory or logistics is a plus. Forklift operation and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 6 months of work experience in a similar position.
• Vocational training in Inventory Management, Logistics or material processing is preferred.
• Ability to perform Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Cycle counting, Packaging, and Logistics.
• Ability to meet deadlines, follow written and verbal instructions, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, ship and bin parts with accuracy within specified time frames.
• Track shipments and freight charges via the internet and bill correctly.
• Receive parts into the computer system and bin or ship as the system indicates.
• Operate material handling equipment, forklifts and hydraulic hose-build machinery safely.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Pick up/deliver as assigned.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
• Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal & external).
• Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Companywide policies to eliminate and/or reduce exposure to liability.
• Participates as needed in special projects or work as assigned
• Provides assistance to other departments, as needed.
• Performs other job tasks as requested.
