Job summary

WORKFORCE Employment Specialists, LLC is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler/Distribution Clerk. The role coordinates receiving, documentation and internal allocation of components, and manages inventory to meet daily distribution and manufacturing demands.

Responsibilities include error-proofing shipments, maintaining records, and organizing inventory to improve efficiency. This full-time on-site position is standard daytime hours with moderate physical demands.

Qualifications

• High school education required; one year factory shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Ability to read and write English; basic math skills.
• Must be able to lift and move items, work in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive all material, chemicals and supplies.
• Ship finished product or sublet operations.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders on arrival.
• Prepare items for shipment to customers or return to supplier.
• Maintain record keeping systems and mark material with part numbers, date and lot codes.
