Job summary

Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) is seeking a Storekeeper to maintain inventory accuracy and support material handling across our Virginia facilities. The role focuses on shipping/receiving, cycle counts, and collaboration with field crews to meet work orders and priority material needs.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of warehousing or inventory experience, with strong math and computer skills, including MS Excel and inventory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of warehousing, inventory, or parts distribution experience is required.
• Basic math and computer skills to operate MS Excel and Inventory Management software.

Responsibilities

• Issue and credit materials with high fill rates and accuracy.
• Operate CDL equipment and other motorized equipment.
• Coordinate with crews on material mainline priority, staging, and change orders.
• Process shipping and receiving and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Analyze materials and work orders and investigate discrepancies.
