Job summary

Buckhead Meat Rhode Island, a division of Buckhead Meat Co., is seeking a warehouse clerk to audit folders for accuracy and close out orders in the system. The role includes clerical duties, data entry, and supporting management across major programs and projects.

You will review dates, shipment information, and obtain approvals before loading. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected; AS400 experience is preferred. This position involves variable shifts and physical warehouse environments.

Qualifications

• Education: HSD or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 1-year warehouse office experience preferred.
• Skills: Ability to operate a computer and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Review dates to ensure they are within the guidelines of the receiving country.
• Review photos/folder of shipment information and asks approval from management before loading.
• Closes out all orders to finalize shipments.
• Communicates with market managers on product issues.
• Generates daily reports on all items requiring approval.
• Generates fees on folders.
• Clerical duties: answering phone, filing, responding to inquiries, photocopying.
• The workload can vary significantly.
• Associates in this department must have the flexibility to work shifts that may include long hours and have varying shift start and end times.
