Job summary

Buckhead Meat Midwest Inc.-Illinois Division is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a non-climate controlled environment. You will manage inventory, coordinate with customer service, and lead a team to meet productivity targets while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires 2–5 years of warehouse/ logistics experience, proficiency with WMS and MS Office, and the ability to train staff and communicate effectively under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 2–5 years of supply chain/warehouse management experience.
• Experience with warehouse management platforms and inventory systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage, retrieval and dispatch of goods.
• Monitor POs and stock orders through systems to ensure flow to Order Close.
• Manage receiving, inventory control and returns; monitor bins and inventory accuracy.
• Train staff, supervise workflow and resolve problems.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper use of equipment.
