Job summary

Sysco Buckhead Meat Rhode Island is seeking an Operations Worker to pick, pack, and stage products for shipment. You will work in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environments, loading/unloading deliveries and maintaining inventory records in the warehouse system.

This full-time role requires attention to safety, the ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds, and the capacity to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and labels.

Responsibilities

• Selects products from inventory and assembles, packs, and transports to staging areas for shipment.
• Loads and unloads product deliveries; operates in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse.
• Records item information in Warehouse Management System; maintains inventory records.
• Ensures pallets are stacked securely and shrink-wrapped for delivery.
• Maintains neatness and safety in work areas and reports hazards immediately.
