Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in New Ulm, MN is seeking a Senior Specialist, Inventory. The role focuses on end-to-end inventory management to ensure stock accuracy, material availability, and adherence to standards.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Procurement and Finance to optimize performance and site objectives. The position requires a high school diploma and at least 5 years in inventory or supply chain within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in inventory management, warehouse operations or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing (food, nutrition, or similar) preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP and inventory control practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in ERP.
• Optimize inventory levels (min/max, safety stock) aligned with planning.
• Ensure timely material availability to support production continuity.
• Collaborate with planning, operations, quality, procurement, and finance.
