Job summary

Pride Mobility Products Corporation is seeking an inventory coordination specialist to support Quantum Fabrication by ensuring accurate inventory levels and creating schedules that align with shipping, receiving, and staffing constraints.

You will use Jobpack to create daily production schedules, maintain data accuracy, and coordinate with multiple departments to address material shortages, lead times, and delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Create daily production schedules using Jobpack to support on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate departmental data to support reliable schedules and ship dates.
  • Monitor lead-time-sensitive orders and coordinate with the team on expediting.
  • Transfer parts to the warehouse for shipment to vendors by required dates.
  • Serve as the liaison between Quantum Fabrication and other departments regarding materials and orders.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Coordinate special projects and continuously improve inventory processes.
  • Follow up on backorders and coordinate delivery with other departments.
  • Order materials and maintain tooling inventory levels.
  • Cross-train and assist in other areas, including machine operation and assembly.

DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To support Quantum Fabrication in meeting all production goals and standards by ensuring accurate levels of inventory and creating manufacturing schedules with consideration to shipping and receiving schedules, lead times, and staffing constraints

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Utilize Jobpack software to create daily production schedules that support on-time delivery and identify inventory and demand constraints for parts produced in Quantum Fabrication
  • Maintain accurate departmental data to support reliable production schedules and expected ship dates
  • Monitor lead-time-sensitive orders and coordinate with the team to address expedited orders, component shortages, and capacity constraints
  • Transfer parts to the warehouse for shipment to vendors by required dates
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Quantum Fabrication and other departments regarding materials and orders
  • Investigate material-related issues, including engineering changes and inventory errors, gains, and losses
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
  • Coordinate and perform special projects as requested and collaborate with peers, supervisors, and management to evaluate and improve inventory processes
  • Follow up on backorders, expedite orders as needed, and coordinate delivery arrangements with other departments
  • Verify on-hand inventory to support accurate expected ship dates
  • Order materials and supplies as required for production and maintain appropriate tooling inventory levels
  • Cross-train and assist in other areas of Quantum Fabrication as needed, including machine operation and assembly
  • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
  • Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
  • Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
  • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
  • Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
  • Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

  • Work independently and problem solve with limited supervision
  • Lift/push/pull 40 lbs.
  • Work extended hours, including weekends, as business needs dictate

Must have:

  • Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
  • A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Basic working knowledge of Oracle preferred
  • Intermediate understanding of Lean Manufacturing preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • At least 6 months of inventory control, production scheduling, material coordination, or related experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • At least 1 year of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • At least 1 year of machine operation experience preferred
  • Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED
