Job summary

Pride Mobility Products Corp in Duryea, Pennsylvania, is seeking a detail-focused Inventory Control/Production Scheduling Associate to ensure accurate inventory levels and create manufacturing schedules aligned with shipping and receiving plans.

You will use Jobpack to build daily schedules, monitor lead times, coordinate with teams, and maintain data integrity to meet on-time delivery and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Create daily production schedules with Jobpack to support on-time delivery and identify inventory and demand constraints for parts produced in Quantum Fabrication.
  • Maintain accurate departmental data to support reliable production schedules and expected ship dates.
  • Monitor lead-time-sensitive orders and coordinate with the team to address expedited orders, component shortages, and capacity constraints.
  • Transfer parts to the warehouse for shipment to vendors by required dates.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Quantum Fabrication and other departments regarding materials and orders.
  • Investigate material-related issues, including engineering changes and inventory errors, gains, and losses.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Coordinate and perform special projects as requested and collaborate with peers, supervisors, and management to evaluate and improve inventory processes.
  • Follow up on backorders, expedite orders as needed, and coordinate delivery arrangements with other departments.
  • Verify on-hand inventory to support accurate expected ship dates.
  • Order materials and supplies as required for production and maintain appropriate tooling inventory levels.
  • Cross-train and assist in other areas of Quantum Fabrication as needed, including machine operation and assembly.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment.

Job description

To support Quantum Fabrication in meeting all production goals and standards by ensuring accurate levels of inventory and creating manufacturing schedules with consideration to shipping and receiving schedules, lead times, and staffing constraints

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Utilize Jobpack software to create daily production schedules that support on-time delivery and identify inventory and demand constraints for parts produced in Quantum Fabrication

Monitor lead-time-sensitive orders and coordinate with the team to address expedited orders, component shortages, and capacity constraints

Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training

Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

PREFERRED SKILLS

Basic working knowledge of Oracle preferred

Intermediate understanding of Lean Manufacturing preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 6 months of inventory control, production scheduling, material coordination, or related experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

At least 1 year of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

At least 1 year of machine operation experience preferred

Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
