Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inbound/outbound shipments, staging, and daily inventory processes at our distribution center in South Carolina. You will perform assembly, inspections, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while coordinating with external delivery teams and vendors.

The role requires 1–2 years in inventory/return processes, strong detail orientation, and proficiency with warehouse software. Forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (minimum).
• 1–2 years of inventory/return processes experience.
• Experience working with vendors.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Proficiency with warehouse technology and inventory systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments from distribution centers and vendors.
• Stage items for delivery by external teams (XDT).
• Load outbound freight to DCs and reverse vendors (e.g., Outlet, Liquidity).
• Complete product assembly and pre-delivery inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Operate recycling equipment and participate in sustainability programs.
• Perform daily inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, audits, adjustments, and reporting.
• Manage functions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including scanning, dispatching, and validation.
• Generate and monitor reports (RTM worklists, damaged-on-hand).
• Utilize MS Office, Blue Yonder, and My Red Vest to support inventory accuracy and logistics coordination.
• Execute the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) program documentation and credits.
• Process and disposition damaged, discontinued, defective, special order, and canceled merchandise.
• Secure return authorizations from vendors and submit credits for customer returns.
• Communicate with 3PL partners to address delivery claims.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors, liquidation partners, BDC, and outlet teams.
• Resolve customer and cargo issues, and update claims in Lowe’s systems.
