Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Receiving Department Supervisor to oversee inventory receipt and disposition, ensuring accuracy between received stock and purchase orders. The role includes paperwork, inventory checks, and managing receiving staff in a fast-paced club setting.

The supervisor will lead through process controls, coordinate with logistics, and maintain a safe, efficient receiving area while supporting club performance goals.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in a big box receiving environment preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the operations of the receiving department, including matching received inventory against purchase orders and reviewing discrepancies.
• Processes inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensures all receiving paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Supervises Receivers and Receiving Clerk and mentors team members.
• Coordinates with Logistics and manages delivery schedules.
