Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee the receiving department, ensuring accurate receipt and disposition of merchandise and inventory. You will verify purchases, manage paperwork, and supervise team members in a fast-paced club environment.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, supervisory capabilities, and solid computer skills to monitor data, schedules, and compliance while promoting safety and efficiency on the dock.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator required.
• Prior experience in a big box receiving environment preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the operations of the receiving department, including matching received inventory against purchase orders and reviewing discrepancies.
• Processes inbound and outbound shipments and ensures pricing and signage are displayed.
• Supervises Receivers and/or Receiving Clerk, and mentors team members in the receiving/inventory control department.
• Communicates with Logistics and coordinates delivery schedules.
• Completes department self-audit with detail and accuracy and daily reports.
• Ensures doors, alarms and security measures are properly managed at receiving entrances.
