Job summary

AMS Fulfillment is seeking an Inventory Receiving Supervisor in Provo, UT to lead the receiving team, determine unloading and storage procedures, and ensure accurate stock control. You will train staff, handle daily deliveries, and generate inventory reports.

The role requires strong data analysis, forecasting, Excel expertise, and experience with inventory management software. Forklift experience is a plus. Day shift, full-time position in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as inventory receiving supervisor or similar supervisory position
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Working knowledge of inventory management software
• Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
• An analytical mind with strong math skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Strong excel skills
• Forklift experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
• Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
• Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for shipment.
• Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
• Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
• Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
• Recruit and train new employees.
