Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk in Huntington Beach, CA to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will receive, store, and distribute materials, maintain accurate inventory records, and verify deliveries against requisitions and invoices.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in a similar role, and proficiency with Excel and Word. Forklift experience and the ability to obtain certification are preferred.

• Conducts routine inventory counts and audits, identifies variances, and supports discrepancy resolution.
• Prepares procurement requests for materials and supplies.
• Marks materials with identifying information as required.
• Operates forklifts as needed to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

This role is part of our Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense business, which designs, develops, and delivers highly dependable missile systems for hypersonic and strategic missile defense missions. Our tip-to-tail capabilities include payload protection and deployment systems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic interstage systems, separation systems, missile subsystems, shroud systems, launch systems, and payload integration solutions.

The Inventory Control Clerk supports daily manufacturing and warehouse operations by managing the receipt, storage, distribution, and tracking of materials and supplies. This role maintains accurate inventory records, verifies incoming and outgoing materials, identifies discrepancies, and supports procurement activities to ensure materials are available when needed. Through careful recordkeeping and safe material handling, the Inventory Control Clerk helps maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment.

• Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry 25-50 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs or ramps.
• Ability to use and operate a forklift.
