Job summary

Houston Food Bank is seeking an Inventory Receiving Associate to manage warehouse inventory and support kitchen production. You will ensure accurate receiving, FIFO rotation, and timely data entry into NetSuite, while collaborating with culinary leadership and other departments.

The role requires forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of warehouse inventory experience, with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• 1+ years of warehouse inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization of warehouse inventory locations according to guidelines; conduct weekly area audits.
• Perform monthly physical inventory recording on the 1st of each month.
• Input inventory tracking into NetSuite daily/monthly Excel spreadsheet.
• Follow receiving policy; inspect loads and complete Receiving Order Detail Sheet (RODS).
• Submit RODS and invoices to Inventory Management Coordinator for non-disposables and disposables invoices.
• Report missing/damaged products to Culinary Inventory Supervisor.
• Maintain FIFO product rotation and move received products to designated locations.
• Communicate with Kitchen leadership for daily production withdrawals and transfers.
• Attend meetings and assist with programs and special projects.
