Job summary

Houston Citizens Chamber of Commerce is seeking a stock control operator to manage inventory movements, operate forklifts or pallet jacks, and maintain accurate records. Duties include cycle counts, safety compliance, and keeping W.I.P areas clean.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and basic math skills; forklift certification is preferred. Experience with GMP and MSDS is a plus. This is an on-site role with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Safe work habits and reliability required.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus.
• Knowledge of GMP and MSDS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orderly distribution to all W.I.P areas.
• Return completed goods from all W.I.P areas back to inventory.
• Maintain accurate stock records in JDE.
• Feed packaging to all operation areas.
• Locate materials and supplies per pull sheets and verify.
• Complete pre-use inspections on material handling equipment; report repairs.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely.
• Keep inventory and W.I.P areas clean.
• Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
