Job summary

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. This role focuses on receiving, counting, and validating inventory delivered to the yard, ensuring accuracy against POs and packing slips.

You will operate forklifts, maintain orderly staging, and support vendor returns. The environment emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a long-established, family-owned business with a strong local presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class C driver’s license or alternative transportation preferred.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English required.
• Familiar with ERP system.
• Knowledge of receiving/inventory control principles, practices, and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Receive and count all inventory delivered to yard and document counts.
• Validate material received matches PO.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects prior to unloading.
• Notify vendor of discrepancies in inventory received vs packing slip.
• Pre-print blind receiving page and appropriate label.
• Match PO to packing slip and submit to Scantrack.
