Job summary

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. The Load Builder supports our Mission of Legendary Service Through Teamwork by safely and efficiently building loads for our drivers to then deliver.

This position also handles receiving and stocking inventory, helps fill orders for walk-in customers, and reports to the General Manager or Dispatcher. Outdoor work and safety are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• OSHA forklift certification and license.
• Knowledge of receiving and inventory control practices.
• Familiarity with dimension lumber, panels, and building materials.
• Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and invoices.
• Excellent attention to detail in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds safe, efficient loads by reading pick tickets and invoices.
• Reads SKUs to identify materials and assemble loads.
• Load/off-load trucks using manual effort and forklift.
• Perform inventory adjustments and stock placement.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Cross train as backup driver, receiver, counter sales, or dispatcher if needed.
