Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to safely offload deliveries, receive inventory, and store spare parts using a Class II Reach forklift. You will identify, label, locate, and enter items into the CMMS, and assist coworkers at the counter.

Responsibilities include accurate receiving and issuing of inventory, daily forklift offloads, and helping with returns and miscellaneous tasks. Basic Excel/Outlook skills and attention to detail are required.

Qualifikationen

• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
• Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Self-starter mindset.
• Typing and ten-key proficiency.
• Preferred: Knowledge of MRO inventory management.

Aufgaben

• Accurately receive and issue warehouse inventory into/out of system.
• Offload receiving with forklift, utilize class II reach daily.
• Identify incoming packages and communicate with owners.
• Assist employees and contractors retrieving deliveries.
• Assist employees needing parts and supplies.
• Assist employees with returns.
• Ready repairs for shipment.
• Some vacation coverage for coworkers.
• Job will entail other misc. tasks.
