Job summary

Steel Dynamics Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to safely offload deliveries, load and store parts, and enter inventory into the CMMS. You’ll use a forklift and a Class II Reach to move items, identify packages, and assist coworkers at the parts counter.

The role requires accuracy, basic Excel/Outlook, strong problem solving, multitasking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Preferred knowledge includes MRO inventory management.

• Self-starter and capable typing and ten-key skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

Safely offload deliveries with forklift, utilize Class II Reach to store and retrieve spare parts. Receive warehouse inventory into CMMS system. Identify, label, locate, and store spare parts. Help employees needing assistance at the counter.

Responsibilities

Accurately receive and issue warehouse inventory into/out of system. Offload receiving with forklift, utilize class II reach daily. Identify incoming packages and communicate with owners. Assist employees and contractors retrieving deliveries. Assist employees needing parts and supplies. Assist employees with returns. Ready repairs for shipment. Some vacation coverage for coworkers. Job will entail other misc. tasks.

Qualifications

Required:
