Job summary

Whole Foods Market is recruiting for a Receiving/Accounting/Distribution oriented role. You will verify deliveries against POs, ensure product integrity, and handle invoices while supporting period-close accounting tasks. The job requires lifting, operating equipment, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, collaborating with team members, and ensuring timely processing of documents and shipments across the store network.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of store receiving, accounting, and distribution procedures.
• Familiarity with quality goals, food handling, safety, and standards.
• Able to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and IRMA.

Responsibilities

• Verify product against Purchase Orders and supplier paperwork.
• Ensure product integrity and check temperatures as needed.
• Process invoices and distribute copies to teams.
• Close purchase orders in the store purchasing system.
• Support accounting processes during inventory and period close.
• Operate and maintain balers, compactors and related equipment.
• Arrive on time and participate in required trainings and meetings.
