Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Receiver to support backroom and inventory operations in Tucson, AZ. The role involves accurately receiving, processing, and stocking merchandise, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean, organized backroom to support daily store performance.

You will inspect incoming stock, collaborate with the store team, and assist with merchandising and inventory projects while following company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately receive, inspect, and process merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Regularly lift, move, and position merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Safely use receiving equipment such as handheld devices and barcode printers.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Read and understand English; follow written instructions and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender’s culture and align with company values.
• Accurately receive, process, and stock merchandise, including orders and returns.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, tagging, and label placement.
• Maintain backroom organization and inventory accuracy.
• Operate receiving equipment and maintain backroom safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with store leadership to support inventory flow and store goals.
• Train stockers on receiving processes and backroom procedures.
• Report safety or inventory concerns to management as needed.
