Job summary

Family Farm and Home is hiring a Receiver to verify and process incoming and outgoing freight at our Crawfordsville, IN location. The role involves inventory accuracy, backroom organization, and assisting store operations to minimize shrink.

The Receiver must handle loading/unloading, use a forklift or pallet jack with proper licensing, and ensure proper tagging, paperwork, and safety procedures are followed daily.

• Ability to distinguish between similar products and input data into inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort shipments using proper procedures.
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack safely with licensing.
• Process inter-store transfers and damage claims per policy.
• Maintain backroom organization and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with stocking freight and replenishment.
