Job summary

Family Farm and Home in Michigan is seeking a Receiver to verify and process incoming/outgoing freight, maintain inventory accuracy, and support the store manager by reducing shrink. The role involves operating a forklift/pallet jack, sorting shipments, tagging items, and ensuring backroom organization.

The receiver will also handle damaged claims, stock freight, assist with customer service calls, and maintain backroom tools and paperwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication for customer, vendor and associate interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to distinguish between similar products and input data into inventory systems.
• Stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Receive and sort shipments using proper receiving procedures.
