Job summary

Family Farm and Home in Brunswick, OH is seeking a Receiver to verify and process inbound/outbound freight, focusing on inventory accuracy and backroom organization. You will assist the store manager to maintain low shrink and ensure merchandise is loaded and unloaded safely.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, operating a forklift, tagging items, stocking, and answering customer service calls. You must stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. This role is full time.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort shipments using proper receiving procedures.
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack safely and efficiently with proper licensing.
• Separate Special Orders from delivery and process according to store policy.
• Tag all items with security tags where applicable.
• Maintain backroom organization and keep files for paperwork.
• Oversee inter-store transfers and damage claims.
• Assist with stocking freight and answering customer service calls.
• Maintain cleanliness and rotate perishable products.
