Job summary

The Anderson-DuBose Company is seeking a detail-oriented Distribution Center Buyer to support purchasing/inventory control for its Lordstown, OH operations. This role emphasizes maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring accurate ERP data across the distribution network.

Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of purchasing/inventory experience in manufacturing or distribution, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of purchasing/inventory control experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Place inbound orders per vendor requirements while maintaining product levels.
• Oversee inventory levels and safety stocks and order products as needed.
• Handle phase in/phase out of products.
• Maintain proper rotation of inventory.
• Setup and maintain accurate product and vendor data in the ERP system.
• Manage phase-in/phase-out transitions for products.
• Manage and communicate supply issues.
• Partner with warehouse coordinators to monitor inventory tasks.
• Oversee and reconcile vendor credits related to inventory.
• Support miscellaneous assignments as needed.
