Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred; or 1–2 years related warehousing experience.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety policies, reports unsafe conditions.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area; adheres to policies and OSHA standards.
• Examine shipment contents and verify accuracy.
• Requisition and store shipping materials to maintain inventory.
• Record shipment data for reporting and recordkeeping.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and stock items.
• Operate non-CDL flatbed truck for deliveries.
• Process purchase orders timely and review vendor confirmations.
• Negotiate pricing and terms for goods and services.
• Arrange freight and manage trucking arrangements.
• Assist accounts payable with purchase-order accuracy.
