Responsibilities

• Oversees and maintains parts inventory.
• Conducts monthly physical inventory counts for parts room.
• Complies with safety and company policies.
• Researches vendors for price, quality, availability, and reliability.
• Develops and maintains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers.
• Negotiates quotes for POs with wholesalers and suppliers.
• Maintains proper inventory levels of product, parts and equipment.
• Assesses financial risks of purchases (cost versus man hours).
• Matches purchase orders with packing slips and submits for payment.
• Assists Maintenance Manager and Plant Manager in securing quotes for project bids.
• Keeps parts room orderly and clean.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Requests quotes from three suppliers.
