Job summary

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking an experienced Purchasing professional to assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and product ordering in Michigan.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years purchasing and inventory control experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow ABC’s product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-sell additional products.
• Answer customer questions and offer product advice.
• Order products from other ABC Supply branches when necessary.
• Arrange with the warehouse for customer product pickup.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain stock levels.
