Job summary

OMG Inc. is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to support the Production Team at our Illinois manufacturing facility. You will perform daily inventory transactions, manage stock accuracy, and assist with purchasing and lean initiatives.

Reporting to the Materials Manager, you will help with Kanban activities, 5S audits, supplier follow-ups, and coordination with maintenance. A hands-on, detail-oriented professional with manufacturing experience will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Inventory control experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory.
• Identify, research, and report inventory discrepancies.
• Calculate production efficiencies and report results.
• Assist with Kanban activities and related tasks.
• Support 5S audits by tracking progress and results.
• Create, enter, track and receive purchase orders.
• Coordinate follow-up with suppliers on lead times and status.
• Collaborate with Maintenance on purchasing activities.
• Follow S80 guidelines and provide vendor support as needed.
• Complete general office duties and other tasks as assigned.
