Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Procures equipment, materials, and supplies in compliance with county policies.
• Receives requests, researches procurement methods, and reviews bid/proposal documents.
• Places orders with vendors using county tools and processes.
• Researches vendors to determine competitive pricing for parts and equipment.
• Processes inventory at receiving and reconciles discrepancies.
• Shelves, stores, and updates inventory and stocking levels.
• Issues items from stock and closes out requisitions with logs.
• Maintains records of procurement activities and invoices for accuracy.
• Reconciles procurement card statements at cycle end.
• Operates storage of hazardous materials as required and follows safety rules.
