Job summary

• High school diploma and 1 year of warehouse, purchasing, or inventory control experience.
• Must be able to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment; lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receives and stocks incoming materials and tracks inventory data.
• Initiates bid/proposal requests for non-contract items and facilitates purchases under contract.
• Assists with annual warehouse bids for contract items.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness and safety in handling equipment.
• Monitors reorder levels to meet demand and ensure stock availability.
• Processes invoices and packing slips with accuracy and forwards to Accounting.
• Converts approved requisitions into purchase orders using the purchasing system.
• Performs cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
