Job summary

Assurant in Irving, TX is seeking a frontline Operations Lead to support Supervisors, train and mentor warehouse associates, and drive production and quality through daily coaching and hands-on leadership.

You will monitor KPIs, coordinate resources across the shift, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues while upholding safety standards. Monday–Friday, 11:30 am–8:00 pm, with a strong focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience leading, training, coaching, or directing employees in a manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or operations environment.
High level of computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate multiple systems, analyze data, and utilize reporting tools effectively.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed productivity, quality, and operational performance expectations while serving as a role model for associates.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple operational priorities.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating with Supervisors and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

Participate in daily stand-up meetings with the Supervisor.
Reallocate resources to meet goals, including employees, supplies, equipment, and products.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure proper workflow.
Serve as a point of contact for employees and assist with escalations during the shift.
Identify process improvement opportunities and submit recommendations to leadership.
Assist with implementing operational changes on the warehouse floor.
Perform on-the-job training, refresher training, and workstation assessments.
Monitor inventory levels and aging inventory within the area of responsibility.
Monitor daily KPIs, SLAs, productivity, and quality metrics; support corrective actions.
Compile and analyze daily reports and communicate results to teams.
Promote safety and ensure associates follow procedures, escalate safety concerns.
Lead by example with hands‑on presence and support operational activities.
Train, coach, and mentor associates to reinforce performance expectations.
