Job summary

Assurant, Inc. is seeking a Weekday Material Processor Lead to manage a manufacturing/warehouse team in Irving, TX. The role focuses on training, production monitoring, and adherence to work instructions in an onsite setting with a Mon-Thu 6:00AM–4:30PM schedule.

Responsibilities include leading daily stand-ups, allocating resources, coordinating with multiple departments, and partnering with Engineering to resolve process issues while maintaining safety and 6S standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor and staff.
• Reallocate resources to meet customer goals and priorities.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper workflow.
• Serve as point of contact for employee escalations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues.
• Track attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation.
• Participate in 6S audits and implement changes on the floor.
• Monitor KPI and SLA performance; escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain production and quality controls per work instructions.
