Job summary

PSG is seeking an Inventory Planning Manager in Cincinnati, OH. You will own the pull-based inventory system for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, driving continuous improvement and higher inventory turns with strong service levels.

You will partner with Production, Procurement and Sales to align Kanban and safety stock parameters with demand, and lead cross-functional SIOP reviews using Lean principles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 7+ years in inventory planning, materials management, or supply chain planning in manufacturing.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics) and inventory planning tools.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and demand-driven planning methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own design, implementation, governance and continuous improvement of the pull inventory system across materials, WIP and finished goods.
  • Develop and execute inventory strategies to maximize turns while maintaining service levels (OTD/OTIF).
  • Lead SIOP reviews focusing on pull signals, variability, lead time reduction, and buffer sizing.
  • Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Sales to align pull parameters with demand patterns.
  • Identify and implement improvements to reduce lead times and inventory investment using Lean/Six Sigma.
