Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking a Supply Chain Inventory Planner at our Baltimore campus. The role will develop and maintain forecasting models for the Supply Chain product catalogue and conduct monthly forecast maintenance to support operations and procurement.

You will communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management, address demand-related issues promptly, and work closely with the Inventory Planning Manager to mitigate risks and improve forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain ERP systems and Manhattan SCALE.
  • 2 years of professional experience in supply chain/inventory planning, healthcare preferred.

Supply Chain Inventory Planner

Fulltime , 40 hours Days

No Call or Weekends

Location: 1780 E Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD

Position Summary

The Inventory Planner reports to the Inventory Planning Manager, and is responsible for the development and maintenance of effective forecasting models based on industry trends and demand patterns for the Supply Chain product catalogue. The analyst will be responsible for conducting monthly forecast maintenance for product groupings and supporting management with risk assessments and mitigation activities related to product groupings, and proposes and implements solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy. This position will successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management and address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Management, Supply Chain or Logistics Management. Additional experience may be substituted for education.

Knowledge

Knowledge of Supply Chain ERP systems and Manhattan SCALE. Knowledge of departmental processes

Work Experience

2 years of professional experience required, preferably in Supply Chain, Inventory Planning or related field within a healthcare setting

Salary Range:

Minimum 28.90/hour - Maximum 47.71/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
